Michael Monaco

Mike joined Exbo Group in 2024 and supports private equity and venture capital clients throughout the full lifecycle of the acquisition process. He also collaborates with sellers to prepare for financial due diligence, ensuring comprehensive and efficient transaction execution.

Prior to joining Exbo Group, Mike spent over 4+ years in transaction services at Houlihan Lokey and KPMG, where he worked extensively with buy-side and sell-side private equity clients. Before his tenure in transaction services, Mike spent five years in KPMG’s Metro NY audit practice. There, he provided audit support across diverse industries, including healthcare, SaaS, consumer goods, retail, professional services, and real estate. During this time, he gained experience in auditing large-scale carveouts, IPOs, and business combinations.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Quinnipiac University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of New York. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, playing and watching sports.
