Kohl Brinkman

Kohl Brinkman joined Exbo Group in early 2025 as the Head of Business Development. With over a decade of experience, he has built and maintained partnerships with investment managers and corporations of all sizes across diverse sectors and transaction types. Kohl has deployed teams to facilitate the execution of over 350 M&A transactions, delivering value at every stage of the deal lifecycle. On the corporate side, he has spearheaded initiatives to optimize finance and IT functions.

Before joining Exbo, Kohl was Director of Business Development at Stout, where he expanded private equity coverage for valuation, transaction advisory, and accounting/reporting advisory services.

Kohl holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Maritime Archaeology from the University of Rhode Island. Before transitioning to financial services, he worked with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. In his free time, Kohl enjoys boating and traveling with his wife and three daughters.
